Christmas shopping is typically a stressful event for most people, but it doesn’t have to be.

Depending on who you’re shopping for, you may have a long, specific list (think: kids) or a blank page for those family members who “don’t know” what they want.

When I was younger, it was always the “don’t knows” who stressed me out.  Having no idea of what to get them, I took the easy way out-resorting to gift cards.

But as I got older, I realized the importance (and fun) of taking the time to purchase thoughtful gifts for others.

Whether you’re stuck looking for the perfect gift for someone who didn’t give you any clues or you’re looking for a little something to encourage someone or just show appreciation, I think you’ll love this self-care holiday gift guide.

There’s so much pressure on people to deliver on Christmas gifts-buying the “hot” item of the year, battling at the store for the last unit in stock, etc.  And it becomes more about satisfying your own pride than it does tapping into the thoughtfulness of gift giving.

These are gifts that will keep on giving, and not just some popular item of the moment that will be long forgotten a few months from now.

Life Coaching

Everyone needs a life coach.

Just to clarify: there is a difference between a life coach and a therapist.

Life coaches help you improve yourself and up-level your life, while therapists focus more on trauma and mental health issues-things that are outside a life coach’s certifications.

With life coaching, you learn invaluable skills such as time management, creating a daily routine, productivity, habits, goal-setting, advancing your career, etc.  They also help keep you accountable.

My favorite life coach is Natalie Bacon, and her program is called Grow You.
