Proactive vs. Reactive

On the path to your future self, the enemy will try to stop you.

You will be distracted by others placed in your path who like to take the easy way out. Those who would rather allow themselves to be limited by the flesh than overcome in the spirit.

They’d rather settle for a quick fix of instant gratification instead of long-term success and happiness. Then they’ll complain about their shortcomings, as though they have no control over them.

Most people would rather blame their problems on outside circumstances and other people.

They’ll encourage you to do the same.

But we all have a choice in the matter. We all have the ability to choose our destination.

Yes, things will happen that are far beyond our control-but we get to decide how to react to them.

Don’t react when a negative circumstance occurs.

Choose to be proactive.  Take action.

Be solution-focused, not problem-focused.

You have the opportunity to turn your situation around.

The choice is yours.

It’s in your hands.

Will you be proactive, or reactive?

Stay your own path.
